Refund policy

We are proud of what we make and we hope you love our products. However, we recognize that our products may not be for everyone.

If you think a product isn't working out for you, we would love to hear from you. Please leave us feedback on why you're returning it. Your feedback is important and will help us improve our products.

If you purchased your product from our online store and would like to return it, you can submit a return request directly through your Botaneca account or by emailing us at hello@botaneca.com.

 

RETURNS

Items can be returned for store credit within 14 days of receipt of the parcel. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Items must be returned unopened/unused and in the same condition that you received them and must also be in their original packaging.

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned for store credit or exchange:

  • All sale items
  • All seasonal items
  • All items that have been opened or taken out of their original packaging (including shrink wrap)
  • Any items that were used
  • Items purchased at an in-person market
  • Items returned after 14 days
  • Free gifts or promotional items
  • Gift cards

We reserve the right to not accept an item for return that we deem as not in its original condition.

The customer is responsible for returning the item(s). We will not be liable for any lost packages or packages that arrive late due to shipping problems that arise with our couriers, war, terrorist acts, or acts of nature such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, snow storms, etc.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or the order was prepared incorrectly by Botaneca. The customer is responsible for any associated fees related to returning the parcel such as shipping fees, customs, brokerage and import fees. No store credit is given for lost return packages and non-returnable items returned to us will not be shipped back to the sender nor credited to their account.

 

REFUNDS

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a store credit or exchange.

To complete your return, submit your request through your Botaneca account or email us at hello@botaneca.com. Please include your receipt or proof of purchase, your name, email address, shipping address, order number, and a description of the item(s) being returned.

For standard returns, a store credit will be issued to your account for the price of the returned product(s) plus applicable taxes paid on the product's value. Shipping charges, taxes on shipping charges, customs, brokerage and import fees are not refundable.

In cases where an item arrives damaged, the wrong item was sent, or a serious skin reaction has occurred, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method for the price of the product(s) plus applicable taxes. Shipping charges and associated fees are not refundable in these cases unless the error was made by Botaneca.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your return has been approved or rejected. If approved, your store credit or refund will be processed within two weeks. Please note that refunds to your original payment method may take additional days to appear depending on your credit card or financial institution.

 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven't received your store credit or refund yet, please first check your store account, bank account or credit card statement. Then contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times can vary. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at hello@botaneca.com.

 

DAMAGED ITEMS

You must report any damages within 5 days of the delivery date of your parcel. An electronic photo of the damaged goods is required and must be sent to hello@botaneca.com along with your order number. Please hold on to all original packaging and goods for 14 days as we may request that you send damaged items back to us at our expense. In the case of damaged or incorrectly sent items, a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement will be offered at our discretion.

 

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items are eligible for store credit. Unfortunately sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are damaged or if the wrong item was sent. If you need to exchange an item, please send us an email at hello@botaneca.com and send your item to:

GIFTS

If you received an order as a gift, the contact information of the original purchaser will be required in order to issue a store credit or replacement for any item.

You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or the wrong item was sent. Shipping costs, customs fees, brokerage fees and import fees are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
